Angkor Adventure Tour 4 Days / 3 Nights

Siem Reap Tour 4 Days / 3 Nights is an adventure tour to combine several temples of Angkor with a rarely visited temple Beng Mealea and boat trip to the floating village at Tonle Sap lake.

Beng Mealea is the only temple that preserves much of its natural condition, ruined state, and locates about 1 & 1/2 hour away from Siem Reap. The tour will provide you the best view of the country-side and typical Khmer houses while we are driving to the temple. The visit to the former capital city of Rolous will teach you the evolution of the Khmer architecture from the 8th century until 13 century.

Day 1:
Morning, pick up from the hotel or airport to visit Angkor, the largest religious structure in the world. We will spend about 2 hours or more to visit this amazing temple before heading back to hotel for a noon break to avoid the heat.

2.30pm, depart from the hotel to visit the largest and last city of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom, covering the area of 12 square kilometers. The tour starts at South Gate for an great view of the moat and wall with the amazing photo of the giant faces of the gate. Jump in a car or tuk-tuk for a short drive to Baphuon, currently restored temple, and walk through to Royal Enclosure where Phimean Akas center in, walk to Elephant and Leper King Terrace.

Short drive to another main highlight temple of the day, the Bayon temple to enjoy the quietness while everyone else left to the earlier sites, we jut visited. Soft light of the sun will provide you the best feeling with a lovely contrast of the giant faces.

Day 2:
Early morning at 5.00am, depart the hotel for a dawn breaking at Angkor Wat where the beautiful reflection of the temple and its dramatic firy background exposes. Back to hotel for breakfast, continue to visit an amazing temple of Preah Khan and a very different one, Neak Pean. Lunch break to avoid the heat.

3.00pm, depart the hotel to visit a small temple of Chaosay Tevoda, found by Suryavarman II, the same period as Angkor Wat. Continue to a pyramid Ta Keo and finish at a famous temple of Ta Prohm.

Day 3:
After breakfast, drive through the back site of the busy road to visit the earlier capital city of the Khmer Empire, Rolous group. The tour will start a the first pyramid sandstone temple of the Khmer architecture, Bakong. Continue to a clay-brick temple of Preah Ko before driving back to Siem Reap for noon break.

3.00pm, depart the hotel to drive North of Siem Reap for an hour to visit the most beautiful deep cut carving temple of Banteay Srei, the pink and yellow sandstone temple. The drive will get you to see how people survive in the country-side, their cattles and greenery of the paddy field. Enjoy dinner at Khmer style night live at the beer garden.

Day 4:
After breakfast, depart to visit the real jungle clad temple of Beng Mealea. This excursion will take you through villages where the old Khmer houses revealed along the road side with the greenery of rice paddy field. Back to hotel after temple visit for noon break to avoid the heat.

3.00pm, depart South of Siem Reap town via villages to visit the great lake where hundred of Cambodian families lives. Floating houses on bamboo raft and boat provides you the best exploration on a fresh air boat trip. A short visit to the handicraft workshop on the way back will remind you the artistic skills of the Khmer during the great Empire.
