ITINERARY
Day 1:
Arrival to Siem Reap, pick up from the airport to the hotel for check in and visit to a small temple of Banteay Kdei during sunset if time permits. Overnight.
Day 2:
Early morning, catch a dramatic sunrise at Angkor Wat and visit this temple right after sunrise. Back to hotel for the breakfast and easy the rest of the morning. After lunch, visit to Angkor Thom which include South Gate, Bayon, Bahuon, Royal Enclosure, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Overnight.
Day 2:
After breakfast, transfer to the foot of Phnom Bakheng to hike up to the top for a wonderful view over the area with a visit to Bakheng temple, continue to Preah Khan temple, and head back to hotel for a break avoiding the heat after visiting to East Mebon and Pre Rup temple. After lunch, transfer to Ta Nei - a temple in the middle of the jungle, and finish the day after a visit of Ta Prohm - the real jungle clad temple or Tomb Raider temple.
Day 3:
After breakfast, spend about 45 minutes drive through Cambodia countryside toward a remote and beautiful deep cut relief temple Banteay Srei. After lunch, free at leisure for shopping or visiting to the early temple group at Rolous such as Bakong and Lolei temple.
Day 4:
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the lake to catch a private boat to Battambang. The journey will spend about 6 hours on a beautiful canal, floating villages, flooded forest and Sangke River. We will learn alot of different lifestyles of poeple along the river. Arrival to Battambang, check in a lovely hotel and city walk to the restaurant for dinner. Overnight.
Day 5:
After breakfast, tour of rural villages of Battambang where we will visit to a rice paper making house as well as crystalized banana chips, rice wine and sticky rice in the bamboo tube. After lunch, experience a famous activity if Battambang - the bamboo train and we can spend the sunset there. Overnight.
Day 6:
Check out the hotel in Battambang and travel to Phnom Penh with some stops. We will visit to a pottery village before lunch in Kampong Chnang. After lunch, have a quick walk through the market by Tonle Spa river before heading straight to Phnom Penh. Arrival to Phnom Penh, check in the hotel and check out the waterfront for some famous places such as FCC...etc. Overnight.
Day 7:
City tour of Phnom Penh to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and Central Market. After lunch, learn and discover the Killing Field as well as the Genocide Museum Tuol Sleng. Overnight.
Day 8:
In the morning, transfer to the ferry on the Mekong for the tour to a silk weaving island Koh Dach. We will pick up lunch in a local house and travel back to Phnom Penh by boat on the Mekong.
Day 9: Free at leisure to check out another market - called Russian Market and depart.
