Angkor Tour 1 Day takes you a day out of worked trip to S-E. Asia to the rich Khmer civilisation of Angkor and wander around the famous temples near a peaceful town Siem Reap.

This one day tour itinerary bring you to visit most well-known temples: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and the jungle clad, natural ruined stated temple of Ta Prohm which was the one selected by Hollywood to shoot a movie titled Tomb Raider..

ITINERARY

Day 1:
Arrival to Siem Reap, pick up from the airport to the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 2:
After breakfast, pick up the bike in front of the hotel, ride to the temple pass counter for a registration, continue to Angkor Wat for a visit of this temple. We will spend about 2 hours here and continue to Ta Prohm, the jungle temple before pick up lunch around there. After lunch, we cycle to Angkor Thom where the visit starts at Bayon, Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Cycle back to hotel and overnight.

Day 3:
After breakfast, start the cycling from the hotel to visit some temples along the grand circuit. First, we stop at Preah Khan temple and spend about 1 hour, continue to East Mebon temple - the early brick temple, pick up lunch around the temple and short rest. After lunch, cycle through the country side, through a lot of villages toward a beautiful temple Banteay Srei. Transfer back to hotel after visiting the temple. Overnight.

Day 4:
Pick up the bike in front the hotel after breakfast for the ride to Bakong the earlier capital of Khmer Empire. The ride is on the hidden path, through rural village and rice-fields. Free afternoon at leisure.

Day 5:
After breakfast and check out the hotel, transfer to the great lake Tonle Sap to pick up a boat for the journey to Battambang through Sangke River. The trip takes about 6 hours on a very interesting canal, floating villages, as well as flooded forest and birds. Picnic lunch on the boat. Arrival to Battambang, check in a lovely hotel and city walking tour of this beautiful French colonial town. Overnight.

Day 6:
After breakfast, pick up the bike in front of the hotel for the ride through the country side to see the different lifestyles and ways of making their livings. We visit to a rice paper making, crystalized banana, rice wine making, and sticky-rice in the bamboo house. Cycle back into town to pick up lunch and continue to experience the famous bamboo train before biking back to hotel and overnight.

Day 7:
After breakfast, transfer from Battambang to a certain point on the national road 5 where the bikes are set up for the ride into the pottery village. Continue the ride into the town of Kampong Chnang to visit a local market locates by Tonle Sap river. Finish the ride at a restaurant where we pick up lunch. After lunch, transfer to Phnom Penh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 8:
City tour of Phnom Penh to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum in the morning. After lunch, visit to Killing Field, Genocide Museum Tuol Sleng. Late evening, walk a long the waterfront to check out some famous places of the capital. Overnight.

Day 9:
Transfer to a point out side of Phnom Penh, pick up the bike and cross the Mekong River to visit the silk weaving village on Koh Dach Island. Pick up lunch in a local house. Transfer back to Phnom Penh by a boat to enjoy the scenery of the Mekong.

Day 10:
Free at leisure until departure.
